Southern American English: Dialectal variation (phonology, phonetics, and morphology) in English. Basically, The dialect I’m interested in is the Southern American English Custom Paper

The paper should take a scientific approach and be written for an audience that is educated with
respect to basic phonetics, phonology, and morphology. It is worth 10% of your grade. You must
use at least two different sources, and at least one of them must be a scholarly book or article.
Wikipedia is NOT acceptable as a source. You can also do primary research if you choose. You will
give a presentation in class the last week of the term in which you highlight and discuss your most
interesting findings. The presentation is 5% of your grade.
The topic will be about:
Dialectal variation (phonology, phonetics, and morphology) in English.
Basically, The dialect I’m interested in is the Southern American English.
So the term paper will be about the phonology, phonetics, and morphology of the Southern
American English.
Important Notification:
The term paper is about Southern American English in terms of it’s phonology, phonetics, and
morphology. I’m not interested in the Standard English phonology and morphology. It is fine
though if made a little part where you show the differences between Southern American English
and Standard American English in terms of phonology and morphology
