The course design will foster the accomplishment of the course learning outcomes by ensuring that weekly content and learning activities are closely aligned with the course learning objectives. The students will have opportunities to interact with each other to demonstrate, reinforce, and increase learning. Interaction is encouraged through each of the participants introducing themselves at the beginning of the session and participating in discussion board activity throughout the session. The course uses andragogical (learner-driven) principles, which are suitable for adult learners. The course demonstrates categories of cognitive processes found in Bloom’s Taxonomy and is broken into meaningful learning modules with specific, observable connections to the course.
