You are required to produce an individual piece of work related to aspects of the Business Game module. You may choose any title and topic providing the work is:
• Of an academic nature, drawing upon appropriate theory and research,
• Clearly related to the module,
• Reflective in nature and draws upon examples taken from your experience of the
module.
If you wish, you may base your work around the module’s learning outcomes. If so, you
should reflect upon how the learning outcomes have been met. Your account should draw
upon appropriate theory and research and should use examples taken from your experience
of the module. See the appendices in this module handbook or the module outline for the
module learning objectives.
Your managing director received an intervention during the module. If you are the MD, it
may be helpful if you discuss how this affected your performance and behavior before and
after. Other team members should also discuss what effect the intervention had on the
performance and behaviour of the team. Your tutors will give you more advice and
information about this over the course of the module.
An important aspect of this assessment is about your ability to apply skills such as
judgement, analysis and problem solving. As an example, you will need to make decisions
about what information to include, how to present it, and so on. You will also need to justify
and explain your key decisions.
